SHARE THE LOVE
A MINI day RETREAT WITH JULIA, ZUZANA + GEMMA
saturday 17th february 2-5pm
david lloyd bicester
2-3pm: journalling, meditation + vinyasa flow
Julia opens with sound infused journalling and meditation followed by a soothing vinyasa flow to get the mini-retreat started. Easing away any stress and tension with a breath-led yoga class. Positive self-affirmations at the heart of this ‘self-love’ and ‘self-care’ session leaving participants relaxed and yet gently energised. A carefully designed sequence including fascia release elements with the self-love outcome in-mind at the very centre.
Gemma will compliment Julia's flow with sound, with all its curves and waves, transports us to a place that is uninterrupted. Under its influence, we can feel, sense and unpack the experience of our body whilst bypassing the habitual patterns of our mind.

3.45-5pm: yin yoga + live sound bath
we'll return to the studio for a 60 min rejuvenating Yin class taught by Zuzana. Yin is a slow-paced, gentle and style of yoga. Floor based poses are held for several minutes. Postures increase mobility, and hydrates the body's fascial network. The practitioners are to find stillness so as to relax the musculature of their bodies in order to work into connective tissues like fascia, ligaments, tendons, joint capsules and more.
Gemma again will compliment her class with a sound bath. When we combine sound with Yin yoga, a little bit of magic happens. The vibrations of the crystal bowls and gongs course through the body, helping us to melt, and what was feeling knotted, tight and full of resistance is soothed open. The afterglow is a tender state of acceptance that is brimming with love.
YOU will leave feeling refreshed, nourished, connected and nurtured.
